This is a really good song even though I am not a big country fan.
An old girl friend of mine told me to listen to it. She left me when I was in the Army for someone else when I went overseas (long story). Anyways, when I got out I met someone and have been married now for twenty years. I have always (deep down) loved my old girlfriend but, through thick and thin my wife has always stood by my side. She didn't cut and run when times got tough.
